Join us for our April meeting of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the NC Native Plant Society!Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the BREMCO (Blue Ridge Energy) Conference Room in Boone.
Our speaker, James Tomberlin, Mountain Operations Supervisor for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, will present:
“Deer Management in North Carolina: Successes and Challenges.”
James will share a brief history of deer in North Carolina and provide an overview of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission’s deer management program, including its successes and ongoing challenges. He will also discuss broader considerations for managing wildlife within our changing landscapes.
