Celebrate five years of fiber arts at the Fifth Annual Fiber Frolic, held at Hickory Ridge History Museum in Boone, NC on Saturday, May 16th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm!
This beloved High Country tradition brings together fiber enthusiasts, crafters, and curious families for a full day of hands-on demonstrations and traditional Appalachian textile arts. Best of all, it is completely free to attend!
Explore the craft traditions that sustained mountain communities for generations through live demonstrations and interactive activities including spinning, wool carding, weaving, natural dyeing, and knitting and crocheting. Whether you are a lifelong fiber artist or picking up a drop spindle for the very first time, the Fiber Frolic is a welcoming, all-ages event with something to discover at every cabin.
