Session 1 is 3.5hours (half a day)

Session 1 (half day) is Brief Mental Wellbeing Advice designed to help
participants better understand mental health, mental wellbeing and mental
illness. Participants will also learn about local services and resources that
enable people to help themselves. Participants will become confident to offer
wellbeing advice within their everyday work role.

The purpose of session 1 is to:
· Develop the skills and confidence to discuss Mental health and wellbeingissues within daily practice .· Explain mental health and wellbeing by using specific public health modelsand self-help principles· Recognise the qualities and attitudes needed to work with mental health andWellbeing· Identify local mental health and Wellbeing resources and services that supportthe community.

Anyone over 15 who lives, is employed or volunteers in the Borough can attend.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please note this event is NOT free, late cancellations may be charged a fee £100 depending on the the cost of the event.
