Cooking with Sara: Master Four Classic Italian Pasta Sauces

Join Italian-born Sara Seravalli for a relaxed and interactive cooking demonstration at Il Salotto — Glasgow’s beautiful design hub in the Merchant City.

In this hands-on session, Sara will show you how to prepare four simple yet incredibly tasty pasta sauces that you can easily recreate at home. You’ll be helping her cook along while sipping a glass of wine (or your favourite drink) and learning the secrets to authentic Italian flavour.

You’ll also take home a wee pot of freshly made pesto as a delicious reminder of your evening.

Learn how to eat better, cheaper, and healthier — and discover why making your own sauces beats anything that comes out of a jar.

Every session, we will be making and eating:

1. Traditional Basil Pesto (Pesto Alla Genovese)
2. Cavolo Nero Pesto
3. A very easy but super tasty Puttanesca (with cherry tomatoes)
4. The fourth option varies each time
