Contemplative Compositions Sessions

Contemplative Compositions Sessions is a guided, prayerful gathering designed to help you slow down, reflect, and engage deeply with Scripture in the days leading up to Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

This is not a creative writing workshop.
It is a contemplative spiritual practice rooted in silence, Scripture, and writing as a form of prayer.

What to Expect
Participants will be guided through a two-hour experience that includes:

• Welcome and Scripture reading
• Guided silence and reflection
• Structured contemplative writing
• Optional sharing in a respectful, non-evaluative space
• Closing prayer

You will have the option to write using either a typewriter or handwriting station, creating a tangible and reflective experience.

• Date: Holy Wednesday
• Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Location: First Miami Presbyterian Church
• Capacity: Limited to 20 participants (RSVP required)

Holy Wednesday invites us into stillness before the depth of the Triduum.

Come prepared to slow down, be present, and engage in a meaningful rhythm of silence and reflection.
