Community Planting Day and Spring BBQ at Jardine Park

On Saturday September 26th we're looking forward to inviting Queenstowners to a planting day based at our community nursery in Jardine Park.
We will be planting bird loving trees and shrubs to the site after the recent removal of wilding conifers behind the nursery.
The hard work of digging holes will already be done and the job on the day will be to get native plants into their forever homes.
As is tradition, we will have a yummy morning tea part way through the morning provided by the chefs at the Hilton hotel.
We will follow up with a BBQ at the nursery to celebrate the spring planting season.
We look forward to welcoming you to the hub of WRT this spring!

What to wear | what to bring | where to park:
It’s drop-in style so join us when you can between 9.00 - 12.00
- Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable outdoor clothing
- Bring a pair of gardening gloves if you have them & a water bottle.
- Parking is at the nursery. turn left when you enter in the gate to Jardine Park off Poplar Drive.
