About this Event

Volunteers will help with removing trash, non-native invasive ground covers, soil

aerating, and applying sheet mulching, a sustainable, soil-building practice that

improves moisture retention, enriches soll structure, and promotes long-term tree

vitality. We hope to enhance the health of the existing acorn-producing trees, which are the most important capstone tree species in California.
