About this Event
Colorado’s wildlands are home to diverse wildlife, including wolves and coyotes, mountain lions and bobcats, black bears and beavers, boreal toads and rattlesnakes, elk, mule deer, and at least 1,000 native plant species.
Native wildlife and plant species are essential to the health of wildlands and human culture. Learning to coexist and share the landscape with native wildlife and plant species will enable humans and wildlife to thrive.
Join expert guides, photographers, and scientists for an evening of stories and insights from the Front Range and Beyond about coexisting and thriving with our natural world.
Speakers:
Dave Sutherland is an award-winning interpretive field naturalist with over 25 years of experience in Boulder (and California, Costa Rica, and the Galapagos Islands). With his love of nature, he has inspired Coloradans to protect and conserve our wild world.

He combines his passion for the conservation of all things wild with photography to capture the beauty of the natural world in photographs of elephants in Africa, whales in Alaska, and penguins in Antarctica.
