Cloverbud Stars & Spice - America 250 Cooking Camp
About this Event
Youth ages 5–8 are invited to join the Cloverbud Stars & Spice Camp to explore the food that has shaped the United States over the last 250 years. Participants prepare and enjoy a morning meal and lunch from different cultural roots that have created the branches of our home. This fun and hands-on 4-H program where young learners will build confidence in the kitchen learning basic cooking skills such as kitchen safety, measuring, mixing, spreading, and simple food preparation while making tasty recipes. Along the way, youth will explore new foods, practice teamwork, and enjoy cooking games and activities designed to make learning in the kitchen both fun and educational. This exciting program is perfect for young chefs who love to create, learn, and taste their own delicious creations! Participants will take home cooking utensils to continue their culinary journey with their families. The registration fee is $25. This may be paid online through eventbrite. Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2026 program year. The link to do that is https://v2.4honline.com/ . Participants should bring a reusable water bottle and wear close-toed shoes.
