Living with gastrointestinal issues such as gastroparesis, Barrett's esophagus, ulcers, colitis, GERD, hiatal hernia, and IBD is a challenging journey, one that I've been navigating since my teenage years. Despite the countless procedures, specialist visits, and myriad of medications, managing these conditions remains a complex and ongoing process. The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation has been instrumental in driving research breakthroughs in IBD, offering hope for improved treatments and support.I am taking part in Take Steps, the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest fundraising initiative, to help accelerate research and enhance the quality of life for those affected by IBD. I will be starting these annual walks to encourage fellow warriors: my best friend Tabby and my SO’s niece, Eliana. By participating in this campaign, whether through a donation or active fundraising, you contribute to a brighter future for IBD patients and their families.
