Join Natural Movers for an inspiring and dynamic dance series designed to celebrate creativity, culture, and community through literacy and movement. Perfect for children and youth, this program offers a year-round exploration of dance styles from across the globe. From rhythmic hip-hop to grounded African dance, graceful ballet, and expressive modern movement, every session encourages self-expression, joy, and a deeper connection to the art of dance.

The Young Artists: You Can Dance Series is more than just movement—it's a celebration of the power of representation and cultural heritage. Each class fosters confidence, discipline, and artistry, allowing participants to see themselves in the stories and traditions woven into every step.

🗓️ Monthly Dance Highlights:

  • January: Hip-Hop 🎧🔥
    Kick off the year with energetic rhythms and dynamic choreography in this high-energy class that’s as fun as it is engaging.
  • February: African Dance 🌍✨
    Dive into traditional African rhythms and movements that celebrate cultural awareness, joy, and powerful, grounded expression.
  • March: Ballet 🩰🌟
    Build a strong foundation with an emphasis on posture, technique, and grace, perfect for cultivating discipline and precision.
  • April: Hip-Hop 🎶💥
    Revisit hip-hop to build on January’s skills and explore fresh, exciting moves.
  • May: Modern/Contemporary Dance 🎭🌊

    Return to ballet with more advanced exercises focusing on strength, flexibility, and balance.

  • September: World Dance Fusion 🌎
    Experience a global celebration of dance with styles like salsa, Bollywood, and folk, blending traditions for a vibrant, cultural journey.

About Ericka Squire:


Ericka Squire, founder of Natural Movers, is an accomplished dancer, educator, and advocate for the arts. With a passion for nurturing the next generation of artists, Ericka has dedicated her career to creating spaces where young people can connect with their creative potential. Her innovative approach blends technical mastery with cultural exploration, inspiring dancers to express themselves with confidence and authenticity.

Through Natural Movers, Ericka continues her mission to uplift and empower youth, helping them see the beauty within themselves and their communities, one dance step at a time. 🌟

About our Reading + Leading Little Revolutionaries Program :

Age Range: All Ages- Activities vary in age range

Program Description:

A free monthly program that offers the community a diverse range of activities including cooking, gardening, dance, STEAM, writing, art and music, all designed to enrich their literacy learning experience. This program encourages children to explore their passions, facilitate ongoing self-discovery, while developing leadership skills and fostering a sense of community.
