About this Event
Myfanwy Tristram’s Noise Valley, published by SelfMadeHero on 14 May, tells true stories of protest from a small community in South Wales. It is a beautifully illustrated work of graphic non-fiction which strives to reframe protest as a creative force for good & was shortlisted for the 2024 First Graphic Novel Award.
Olivia Sullivan’s Oracles, published by Avery Hill on 16 April, is a graphic novel journey through the wilderness to face the complications and complexities of grief and loss. With gorgeous art and lyrical, contemplative text, this graphic novel is a passage from uncertainty to joy and understanding, by a creator that Broken Frontier nominated as "one to watch".
Myf and Olivia will be interviewed by Alex Fitch, with audience Q&A and book signing afterwards.
