Join us for one of Carbondale's most festive First Friday celebrations of the year - the 14th Annual Carbondale Family Block Party May 1st! Festivities begin at 4:00 PM in 4th Street Plaza/Chacos Park. Admission is free (donations are greatly appreciated) and all are welcome to join!We'll have live music, family friendly activities, local eats, silent auction and a beer/spirit tent. Local nonprofits will be onsite in our KidZone with fun activities for kids of all ages.
100% of the funds from the event go right back into the community to support family and youth education and programming and our local animal shelter. Event beneficiaries include: Andy Zanca Youth Empowerment Program, Colorado Animal Rescue, FocusedKids, Gender Sexualities Alliance of CMS, LIFT-UP, Rita B. Fund, Smiling Goat Ranch, and Sopris Children’s Fund.
