Join us for an immersive, step-by-step watercolour workshop and learn how to paint this breathtaking, atmospheric mountain landscape.
In this session, you will master the art of painting glowing sunsets, soft valley mist, and complex, textured rock formations using advanced watercolour techniques.
What You Will Learn:
- How to paint a seamless, glowing gradient sky.
- The secret to creating soft, realistic valley mist using wet-on-wet techniques.
- How to utilise Daniel Smith's granulating paints to create complex rock textures effortlessly.

The Palette (Daniel Smith Paints) or any professional watercolour, preferably tubes:
- Azo Yellow
- New Gamboge
- Cadmium Orange
- Alizarin Crimson
- Perylene Violet
- Imperial Purple
- French Ultramarine
- Cobalt Blue
- Cerulean Blue
- Phthalo Green
- Burnt Sienna
- Quinacridone Sienna
- Payne’s Grey
- Lavanda
To get the most out of this workshop and achieve these exact rich textures, we will be using granulating Daniel Smith Watercolours and Winsor & Newton Granulation Medium.

- Winsor & Newton Granulation Medium / must
Extra Magic Tools:
- Small containers to mix granulating colours / must
- A spray bottle (mister) to create a foggy atmosphere. / must
- Paper towels or a box of tissues. / must
- Waterproof board to stretch paper / must
- Masking tape / must
Paper:
100% Cotton Watercolour Paper (Cold Press 300gsm / 140lb).
Brushes:
Calligraphy round, Calligraphy flat, Synthetic flat, Liner
