It's also why the booking policy is the way it is. When someone doesn't show, it isn't just an empty seat. The venue loses a paying customer they were counting on, someone who would have ordered a coffee and spent money there. Showing up isn't just about the group, it's fair to the venue hosting us too.

Just Coffee is a small group of singles meeting for coffee on Sunday morning and talking. That's the whole idea.

No structure, no games, no one running the room. Attendees show up, order coffee or a drink, and conversation happens the way it naturally would with any small group at a table on a quiet morning.

How it works:

• Around 6 to 8 people per session
• Sunday morning, around 9:30 am
• A casual coffee shop setting
• No host, no schedule, no forced icebreakers
• Attendees join from multiple platforms, so it's genuinely new faces
• You order and pay for your own coffee or drinks at the venue

A Sunday morning has room to breathe. There's nowhere to rush back to, so conversation gets to just happen instead of squeeze into a tight window.

What's On The Table

Just Coffee $20 per session (Eventbrite adds a small booking fee at checkout)

• The $20 secures your spot at a small group coffee (6 to 8 people)
• Coffee or drinks purchased individually at the venue
• Unhosted, unstructured. You show up, you talk
• Your spot is reserved the moment you book, and it's non-refundable, since it's what keeps the group reliable

Important Booking Information

Because the group is small on purpose, every seat matters. One no-show changes the whole table, not just one seat.

• Bookings close 48 hours before the session, at 12:00 pm. That's how long we need to confirm numbers with the venue and lock in seating.
• No last-minute bookings. Once the cutoff passes, the list is final, so the venue and the group can count on it.
• No-shows or same-day cancellations affect eligibility for future sessions. Not a penalty. It's how we protect the experience for the other 5 to 7 people who showed up expecting a full table.

If you're not sure you can make it, hold off booking until your plans are settled, rather than reserving a seat you might end up not using.
