About the Exhibition
An Installation at Unscripted Spaces interior design showroom.
What happens when artwork is experienced as part of a thoughtfully designed environment rather than within the walls of a traditional gallery?
Presence & Place is a juried exhibition exploring the relationship between contemporary art, architecture, and interior design. Presented throughout the beautifully designed interiors of Unscripted Spaces in the heart of La Jolla Village, the exhibition invites visitors to experience original artwork in conversation with light, scale, material, and space.
Rather than complementing décor, selected works will stand as compelling artistic statements that transform how a room is experienced and remembered. Throughout the six-month exhibition, participating artists will have the opportunity to present their work to collectors, interior designers, architects, and design professionals seeking original artwork for residential and commercial spaces.
Curator: Erin Page
Erin Page is an art consultant and arts professional with over fifteen years of experience working across the contemporary art world.
Erin was raised in a home surrounded by sculpture, painting, and installation, spending much of her childhood in her mother’s art gallery observing the relationships between artists, dealers, and collectors. That early exposure shaped her understanding of art not only as an object, but as a dialogue — one that requires care, context, and informed decision-making.
Erin brings a curatorial approach to her advisory work at Page Art Project, balancing aesthetic sensibility, market awareness, and the practical realities of acquisition. In addition to leading Page Art Projects, she serves as Program Director for Campana Studios, a North County San Diego–based nonprofit dedicated to creative and economic development for artists.
