Enroll now Advanced Printmaking: Printmaking Portfolio Development
About this Event
A Six week course starting August 6th- September 3rd
Designed for printmakers with prior experience, this studio-based course provides dedicated time, individualized guidance, and technical support for artists developing a cohesive body of work. Rather than focusing on a single printmaking process, participants are encouraged to pursue independent projects using the techniques that best support their artistic goals.
Students may continue projects begun in previous San Diego Printmaking Society courses or develop entirely new work while receiving critiques, demonstrations, technical assistance, and one on one mentorship. The course emphasizes artistic growth, experimentation, and the development of a focused portfolio suitable for exhibitions, graduate school applications, residencies, professional opportunities, or personal artistic practice.
This course is ideal for artists seeking accountability, mentorship, studio community, and dedicated time to advance their printmaking practice.
Previous printmaking experience is required.
[Note: please bring an additional materials fee paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class. Materials are process-dependent and will vary based on each participant’s individual project.]
