PWR of KI is a 75-minute interactive workshop built around strength, awareness, discipline, and the ability to stay grounded under pressure.

Drawing from martial arts principles and real-world self-defense, participants will learn how to use breath, body awareness, movement, and mindset to become more confident in how they carry themselves and respond to challenging situations.

Through movement, practical techniques, and the principles of KI, participants will learn how to stay calm under pressure, move with intention, trust their instincts, and respond with confidence. The focus is on building skills that can be carried into everyday life, from setting stronger boundaries to feeling more capable and prepared in uncomfortable or unexpected situations.

Participants will leave feeling stronger, more aware, and more confident in their ability to take care of themselves.

No martial arts experience is necessary. The workshop is designed to be approachable, empowering, and adaptable for all experience levels.

Class will be held inside of Fabletics by Ka'imi Kuoha @kaimikuoha

Ka’imi is a Professor at the University of San Diego where she leads movement for the MFA Graduate program. She trains in martial arts including Kung-Fu, Aikido, and Arnis stick fighting, and is a 7th-degree black belt in Kempo. She teaches self-defense, hand-to-hand combat, disarming and restraining for SDPD, USMC, and USSS. Ka’imi is proud to empower women through self-defense and movement retreats around the world. Blending her interests in martial arts and performing arts, she and her two partners founded Othentik Gym here in San Diego. ​Her greatest joy is being the mother of her amazingly creative 15-year-old daughter
