About this Event

RECONNECTING WITH THE PAST

Join us for a plant medicine circle with cacao where we will journey through time  to connect with a version of our childhood self. Weaving breath-work, somatic  psychotherapy, and ancestral practices, we will embark on a shamanic journey through a meditation called the River of Time. This will guide us to a past version of self, seeking integration with our present state.

As we shift into a lunar eclipse in Pisces, we are being asked to examine what  aspects of our emotional shadows are preventing us from fully actualizing our  power. In the Mayan Lunar calendar we are present under the energies of 5 Aj,  the Nawal of family and sacred cycles of our growth and evolution. With the  support and guidance of this Nawal, we seek to reconnect with an aspect or part of  Self bringing resolution and reunion.

Cacao is a medicine held sacred by the Maya whose connection to this plant spans  over 5,000 years, during which time, they have cultivated a profound relationship  with the energy and spirit of Cacao. They receive her as an offering brought forth  from another dimension.

As a humble student beginning to integrate this ancient  wisdom, I serve this medicine in full recognition of and reverence to my teachers,  Mayan Cosmology, Community, and Culture.

Includes:

•Mayan Ceremonial Cacao

•Drum Journey

•Somatic practices, breathwork, and guided meditation
