About this Event
Tuesdays. Starting August 26th. 7:00–8:30 PM • Free (Donations Accepted) • Ongoing
You are invited to gather in sacred community with other queer men to honor and tend to grief — our own, our ancestors’, and the grief we share as a collective.
This is an open, peer-led circle for those who feel a sense of belonging in Queer Brotherhood space. We meet weekly, free of charge, to witness each other with compassion and without judgment.
We agree to hold confidentiality so everyone can feel safe bringing their whole selves. In this space, we will not offer advice or try to make it better. Instead, we will simply witness each other in truth and presence:
We are here. We see you. What you are feeling is real.
Bring your heart, your stories, your silence, your tears, your rage, and yes, your joy. All of you is welcome.
To Speak
by Denise Levertov
To speak of sorrow
works upon it
moves it from its
crouched place barring
the way to and from the soul’s hall—
out in the light it
shows clear, whether
shrunken or known as
a giant wrath—
discrete
at least, where before
its great shadow joined
the walls and roof
and seemed
to uphold the hall like a beam.
