Il movimento che nasce dal respiro non è modellato da forze esterne, ma emerge naturalmente dall’interno di tutti gli esseri viventi. In questa masterclass esploreremo il respiro come elemento fondamentale di ogni forma di vita e sorgente del movimento.
La masterclass non richiede alcuna esperienza pregressa di danza Butoh ed è concepita come un’introduzione ai principi di Jinen, l’antica parola shinto che designa lo “Spirito della Natura”. È aperta a danzatori, attori, terapeuti, ai praticanti di tutte le discipline del movimento e a chiunque desideri espandere il proprio soffio vitale attraverso il corpo.
La masterclass è preceduta, il giovedì sera, dalla performance “HIBI” di Atsushi Takenouchi con musiche originali di Hiroko Komiya.

Breath is essential for all living beings. The Earth, too, has been breathing for hundreds of millions of years. We can find many different breaths in this world: the breath of animals, the breath of stones, the breath of light...
The movement that arises from breath is not shaped by external forces but naturally emerges from within all living beings. In this masterclass, we will explore breath as a fundamental element of every form of life and the source of movement.
The masterclass does not require any prior experience with Butoh dance and is conceived as an introduction to the principles of Jinen, the ancient Shinto word that denotes the “Spirit of Nature.” It is open to dancers, actors, therapists, practitioners of all movement disciplines, and anyone who wishes to expand their vital breath through their body.
The masterclass is preceded, on Thursday evening, by the performance "HIBI" by Atsushi Takenouchi with original music by Hiroko Komiya.
