Accompanying Lesley will be also a short reading by Isabel Miles, another Mudfog poet, also with a passion for ecology who we will be publishing later in the year.

Lesley Mountain is a prize-winning poet living in County Durham whose work has been published by Vane Women, Red Squirrel, Cinnamon Press and Mudfog Press. He deep love of the natural world and Weardale in particularl shines through her writing. Her poems celebrate and mourn a world of ecological collapse. Her humour illuminates the dark times of the present with its politics and its catasrophes and celebrates the potential for courage. Described as ‘vivid, inevitably elegaic poems or memory and presence’ by Linda France.
