We are very lucky to be able to bring you Steve Hunt for this special blues inspired workshop. Come and join us for 2 hours of blues understanding and musicality to bring to your WCS style.Steve has been an event director, head judge, competitor and dancer of West Coast Swing for over 16 years now. Steve’s competing highlight was winning the 2015 UK & European WCS jack and Jill champion (Jack and Jill is the improv category of WCS) He is also the resident head judge at numerous high level European WCS events including Warsaw Halloween Swing, Westie Gala, Baltic Swing and recently Bristol Swing Fiesta.
Steve undertook extensive teachings from some of the best WCS coaches in the world in America which in turn has developed a teaching philosophy which is centred around combining detailed technique whilst making learning fun and engaging.

Blues intro class
Get an understanding of the building blocks for dancing to blues music, learn about blues music structure, swing rhythms, some fundamental footwork syncopations, some classic blues patterns.
19.00-19.45 Workshop 2 -
Blues Musicality
This class, building on the first class which offers a blues pattern sequence incorporating hitches, advanced footwork, repeat patterns highlighting musicality
