Blue Lotus Cacao Ceremony & Dream Journey

Enter a dreamy, heart-opening space of ritual, community, reflection, and deep rest.

In this immersive ceremonial experience, we’ll gather with ceremonial cacao and blue lotus before journeying inward through intention, heart connection, guided meditation, and the powerful vibrations of an immersive gongbath.

Ceremonial cacao has long been held as a sacred plant medicine and ritual ally, inviting us to soften, connect with the heart, and listen more deeply within. Your facilitator, Maryzelle Yōllōcozcatzin, was initiated as a Mujer Medicina de Cacao by Abuela Chicahuaxochitl within the Pies Descalzos lineage, and carries these teachings into her work with cacao through prayer, reverence, and intentional ceremony.

Blue lotus brings a gentle, dreamlike quality to the experience, complementing cacao as we slow down and enter a more receptive state.

Together, we’ll create space to open, connect, dream, and release.

We’ll begin by arriving into the body and opening our ceremonial space. You’ll receive ceremonial cacao infused with blue lotus as we share intention, prayer, and a moment of connection with the plants we are working with.

Through intentional practices and community heart connection, we’ll create space to connect not only inwardly, but with one another — allowing ourselves to be witnessed, supported, and present in shared ceremony.

From there, you’ll be guided into a Dream Journey — an inward meditation designed to quiet the thinking mind and invite imagery, intuition, reflection, and connection with your inner world.

The journey will gradually dissolve into an extended immersive gongbath, allowing you to simply lie down, receive, and be surrounded by waves of sound and vibration.

The gong can create an incredibly expansive sonic landscape — moving from subtle, meditative tones into powerful layers of vibration before returning again to stillness.

There is nothing you need to accomplish.

Simply come as you are.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that will help you feel cozy in. The apothecary's event is set up to be seated, so bring a blanket, eye mask, journal, or anything else you enjoy having during this seated sound meditation. We will also be given time towards the end of our event to explore and shop around the apothecary for more medicines if you wish, and to hang out and connect and drink more cacao!

No previous experience with cacao, meditation, or sound healing is necessary.
