Professor John Quinton of Lancaster University talks with us about the sometimes forgotten role that soil plays in sustaining our planet.
About this Event

Soil supports life on earth. Without it there is no food, water is not stored and filtered and the largest terrestrial carbon store is lost. In this talk John will explore the hidden world beneath our feet and the sometimes forgotten role it plays in sustaining our planet. John will also offer some take home actions to improve the soil in your life.

Tickets are free but MUST BE booked in advance, please, as spaces are limited to 60 in the Meeting Room.

Although this is a free event we would welcome donations on the day, all of which will go to John's chosen charity The Eden Rivers Trust.

This event does not have an age restriction, but we suggest that it is most suitable for adults and sixth formers.
