Take your strength training to the next level with barbell work! Varieties of squats, deadlifts, bench press and rows will be taught in a small-group environment with a focus on safe and proper technique. Depending on the group, we may also review a few Olympic lifts. Led by Dr. Ally Bowersock, NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist with over twenty years of experience in the field of fitness and performance program development.

-Cost: FREE for Dumbbell December/January 2025 virtual strength participants; all others $10 Venmo in advance- @RunAboutSportsRoanoke- or $13 cash at class time
-Age limit- minors may attend and participate with adult presence/supervision
- Previous experience- not required, but lifting experience is recommended before adding intensity to your programming.
-Fitness level- any fitness level is welcome, but if you are currently under supervised medical care for any orthopedic condition, participation is prohibited
-What to bring: close-toed shoes and workout attire
