In partnership with the Nashville Filmmakers Guild's StoryGive Project, we are proud to present a free community screening of our short film, One Bad Break, written and produced by Kyler Wilson and Natalie Ruffino Wilson.
Starring award-winning actor Cameron Arnett, One Bad Break is a powerful and deeply human story that illustrates how a single, unforeseen hardship can unravel the stability of a senior living on a fixed income. It serves as a reminder of just how fragile housing security can be, especially in a rapidly growing city like Nashville, where too many older adults are one unexpected setback away from losing the place they call home.
This free community screening is more than a movie—it is an opportunity to spark meaningful conversations about aging, affordable housing, and the challenges facing older adults in our community. Following the film, guests are invited to stay for a panel discussion featuring community leaders and senior advocates, along with an opportunity to tour Fifty Forward Bordeaux Creative Commons and learn more about the work being done to create a community where seniors can age with dignity, stability, and purpose.
Whether you're a community member, caregiver, advocate, policymaker, or simply someone who believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home, we invite you to join us for an evening of storytelling, connection, and inspiration.
