Death Over Donuts: Grief in Film
About this Event
We hope you can join us on Thursday October 22nd, from 11am-12:30pm as we discuss the movies and films that carry us.
This cinema-inspired gathering will explore the ways movies have shaped, reflected, and supported our experiences with death, dying, loss, and grief. Whether a film has helped you feel seen in your sorrow, offered comfort during a difficult season, sparked meaningful conversations about mortality, or simply reminded you that you are not alone in the pain of loss, we invite you to bring those stories to the table.
Together, we'll create a compassionate space for reflection, listening, and connection, using film as a starting point for gentle conversation about one of life's most universal experiences. No expertise is needed—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to share or simply listen.
This come-as-you-are gathering will be a casual time of community sharing. Registration is required for this free event, so sign up today to save your spot.
