About this Event
✨ “Helen is a wonderful space holder, making you feel welcome and creating a safe sharing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the Cacao ceremony and would recommend!” ~ Rakhee
Join for a candlelit evening of Heart-Opening Cacao and a Restorative Sound Bath to celebrate the Autumn Equinox, a time to rest, release and recharge.
Walthamstow London | Sunday 27th September 2026 | 6.00–8.30pm
This gathering is an invitation to slow down, release tension and nourish yourself from the inside out. Through ceremonial cacao, sound healing and guided reflection, you will be gently supported to ground your energy, restore balance and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
Our circle is open to all genders and offers a warm, welcoming space for shared presence, learning and growth. By coming together with openness and care, we cultivate compassion, connection and a sense of belonging.
You are welcome to attend alone, with a friend, or with a partner, and be held within a safe, supportive environment.
Cacao is a gentle heart medicine that helps soften emotional armour, open the heart, and invite clarity, harmony, and alignment. At The Rising Space, you are welcomed exactly as you are, in your wholeness. Step away from the noise of everyday life, take a deep breath, and give yourself permission to rest, reflect, and be nourished.
✨ "It's like entering a sanctuary. You are invited to meet yourself and you are held the whole way through. Glorious evening" ~ Emily

About Ceremonial Cacao
Ceremonial cacao is a gentle, heart-opening plant medicine that naturally supports well-being and connection. Unlike commercial chocolate, it is minimally processed and rich in minerals like magnesium, iron and calcium. It contains phenylethylamine (PEA) and anandamide (the "bliss molecule") to naturally elevate mood, while theobromine provides a gentle, calming energy boost without the crash. Cacao supports focus, heart health and emotional balance, making it a powerful ally for deep, intentional experiences and inner exploration.
Allergies & Intollerances
Your organic, ceremonial-grade Peruvian cacao (30–40g) will be prepared with organic spices, such as turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, chilli, orange peel and cashew milk (suitable for vegans). For an authentic experience, it will be served unsweetened, allowing you to enjoy its rich, bitter depth, similar to dark chocolate. Organic coconut sugar will be available if you prefer a sweeter taste.
Health & Safety
It is recommended that you avoid caffeine 2 hours before consuming cacao and alcohol for at least 24 hours.
Cacao is generally safe for most people, but in some cases a smaller serving may be more suitable. Please let Helen know if any of the following apply to you, so your dose can be adjusted (typically 10–20g instead of a full serving). If you are pregnant, taking Medic*tion, or have allergies or dietary concerns, please check suitability before consuming, Helen can tailor your cacao dose as needed:
- Taking antidepressants or 5-HTP (note: cacao should not be consumed with MAOI antidepressants)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- GERD or IBS
- Heart conditions
- High or low blood pressure
- Caffeine or stimulant sensitivities
- Bleeding disorders or related Medic*tion use

Please consult a practitioner if you have:
- Heart conditions
- Epilepsy or history of seizures
- High/low blood pressure with fainting history
