Come and help the Arrowtown Choppers plant 3000 native Beech and Totara on the slopes of Eichardts Flat (Sawpit Gully Track).Meet anytime from 9am beside the Chinese Village entrance, Arrowtown on 12th April 2026 and you will be directed to the planting site (about a 20/30min walk)
This is a day for all age groups, families and friends to help plant 3000 native trees and enhance the biodiversity of the Arrowtown area. This adds to the 25,000+ trees already planted in the area.
All the holes will be pre-dug holes to make is easy for you and the kids to plant plenty of trees.
Stay up the hill after the plantings as we will have a complimentary BBQ, refreshments and kids prizes all provided by our generous group of sponsors.
