You are welcome to bring a parent, caregiver or other trusted (individual(s) with you should you choose.
*Please bring a device (tablet, phone or other device that can connect to the Internet). There will be some paper copies available. *Support will be available if you need help completing the survey.
The Michigan Autistic Needs Assessment is a statewide survey of Autistic people 13 and over that asks questions on a variety of topics: school, jobs and healthcare to find out what kind of support Autistic people in Michigan have now and what kind of support Autistic people in Michigan need to improve their lives.
Once this information is reviewed by MiA3 and researchers from Michigan State University to learn what kinds of supports and services Autistic people want and need, then MiA3 will use this information to advocate with policymakers in the State of Michigan (example: Autism Council). Your information will never be shared to identify a person publicly or with a government agency.
MiA3's goal is to survey 2,000 Autistic people, so your voice MATTERS!
*Light refreshments will be served, including items from Baked Goods By Dominic, a Michigan Cottage Food Bakery run by Dominic Blatnik, an Autistic person.
