You can build confidence, banish doubt and transform into the artist you know you can be.
All my courses offer the same blend of warmth and encouragement. But the Artist's Almanac is for those who particularly want to discover their artistic path - that is, if all the noise was taken away, what truly makes you tick as an artist? Is it the joy of visual stimulus, or the physicality of mark making, or the science of colour theory, for example? Is it for others or for yourself? Is it to sell more art, get exhibited or gain personal growth - or all these things and more?
My six week Artists Almanac course explores all this and more in the serene and inspiring setting of @thestillroom.keswickhall. In session one you'll receive your own deck of Artist Journalling Prompt Cards and an insight to my personal journalling methods using my own journals and sketchbooks. In sessions two to five you'll be guided to use the deck to fill your unique Artist Journal with inspiration, ideas and ephemera. A well as this, as a qualified Art Life Coach, inspirational teacher and fellow artist, I'll lead you through discussions and exercises based around the Wallas 4-step model of creativity to explore your particular themes and motifs, and help you discover what makes you tick as an artist. In the sixth and final session I'll support you to reflect on your journal so far and write your own Possibilities Plan as a foundation for the next steps in your artistic journey.
