About this Event
A 6-week Course
Date and Time
Monday 19 January 2026, to Monday 23 February 2026, from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm each week.
Location: The Still Room Studio 9D, First Floor, Keswick Hall Norwich, NR4 6TJ
The Artists’ Almanac, led by art educator, Rachel Duffield, is a weekly space for artists, makers, writers and creative practitioners to gather, reflect and gently reconnect with their creative selves.
Each session offers a steady, spacious rhythm for creative thought, collective reflection and nourishing conversation. This is a quiet studio setting where you can return to your practice with intention, curiosity and warmth, without pressure or critique.
These sessions are shaped around gentle themes that support artistic life throughout the year. Together, we will explore ideas, texts, prompts and questions chosen to spark thought, widen perspective and invite meaningful creative reflection.
Across the weeks you can expect a blend of:
• Quiet personal reflection, journalling or sketching in a calm shared space
• Short readings or prompts selected to inspire creative thought or offer new perspectives
• Gentle guided discussion, held with care, curiosity and openness
• A warm drink as you settle in, helping you arrive softly into the evening
• A still, peaceful atmosphere supporting imagination, connection and rest
There is no expectation to share work, read aloud or present anything. You are welcome to participate in a way that feels comfortable for you.
