Artist Demonstration & Gallery Talk with Morgan Thompson

Join wildlife photographer Morgan Thompson for a special artist demonstration and gallery talk inspired by her exhibition, A Feathered Focus. The morning will begin with a guided gallery walk at Art League Gallery, where Morgan will share stories behind her photographs, discuss her process for capturing wildlife behavior, and offer insight into the patience and observation required for nature photography.
Following the gallery talk, attendees will travel to Fish Haul Beach Park for a live field demonstration, where Morgan will discuss techniques for photographing birds and wildlife in their natural habitats, including tips on lighting, composition, timing, and observing animal behavior in the Lowcountry environment.
Free and open to the public. Comfortable walking shoes, water, and sunscreen are recommended for the outdoor portion of the program.
