Join us in celebrating Art Monthly magazine’s 50th anniversary and the launch of its 500th issue.
About this Event

A series of panel discussions will take place over the weekend, and all 500 issues of the magazine will be on display and accessible in a specially designed reading room.

Since its first issue in 1976, Art Monthly has supported and critically engaged with art and the contexts in which it is made. The series of talks devised by Art Monthly’s Associate Editor Chris McCormack reflects on the past 50 years of British art, while questioning the place of criticism and debate in its making and understanding.
