About this Event

Welcome to the Kingston Uni UX & Tech Community! 🇬🇧

This is a casual, grassroots hangout initiated by a Kingston UX graduate. While our core focus is on User Experience (UX Design & UX Research), we warmly welcome all graduates, current students, and alumni from the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and the Environment (Software Engineering, CS, Data, Product, and all Engineering disciplines).

Whether you're a UX practitioner working in London, an engineering student exploring product design, or a recent grad navigating the job market—everyone is very welcome to join!

☕ What to Expect

Casual Hangout: A relaxed space with no rigid agendas or commercial sales pitches. Just grab a drink, exchange industry insights, discuss tech/UX case studies, and build authentic connections.

Solo-Organized: This community is organized purely out of passion by a single founder. Things are kept simple, personal, and approachable!

Shivani Sundar

— Product Design & Research Manager at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG)

Shivani designs and researches products where finance meets AI, currently building out the Product Design & Research function at London Stock Exchange Group. Prior to LSEG, she led design at Temenos, progressing from Junior Service Designer to Senior Product Designer in three years.
