"Steeped in Sound" Guided Meditation & Sound Bath Journey

Steeped in Sound is a contemplative afternoon of guided meditation and immersive sound, offered in a geodesic dome nestled in the forest on Steamboat Island in Olympia. Held within the quiet presence of the land, this experience is designed to support grounded presence, expansive integration, and deep rest.

The evening begins with a light, body-based guided meditation that invites awareness into sensation, breath, and the feeling of being supported. Rather than directing or interpreting experience, the meditation offers simple invitations to settle, allowing the nervous system to soften and arrive naturally in the present moment.

From there, an extended sound bath unfolds within the acoustics of the dome, where sound becomes a steady, enveloping field supporting stillness, listening, and rest, without asking anything of the listener.

For those who feel called, an optional hapé grounding ceremony will be available free of charge prior to the sound journey, facilitated and with informed consent independently by my friend and colleague, Thomas Wurm of Mountain Mind Mastery. Participation in this ritual is entirely optional and not required to attend or benefit from the guided meditation or sound bath. The sound portion of the evening stands fully on its own, complete and accessible.

This experience is not about seeking peak states or outcomes. It is an invitation to slow down, settle into the body, and be held by sound and space. The dome, forest, and vibrations create a quiet container where presence deepens and rest unfolds organically.

Well-suited for both first-time and experienced participants who are seeking a grounded, contemplative sound experience that honors simplicity, integration, and the supportive stillness of the natural world.

Mats, blankets, cushions, and tea will be provided but please do bring along anything you'd like to be most comfortable and cozy. Pajamas are welcome and encouraged!
