Join Helen of HKW Art for a wire-wrapping workshop where you will create a sword using 99.9% pure dead soft copper. Helen will show you wire-working techniques, basic tools used for wire-working, caring for copper, and share her own personal tips and tricks.

Grab a friend and get ready to unleash your creativity in a fun, hands-on craft session. No skills needed! Cost includes copper, beads, and instruction. Snacks and water provided. BYOB.

HELEN’S STORY
Hi, I am Helen - the artist and owner of HKW Art. Pennsylvania born and raised. Retired federal civil servant turned creative entrepreneur. I’ve dabbled in all kinds of art mediums since childhood. My love for wire-working, to include wire-wrapping and wire-weaving, went from making “doo-dads” out of any metal I found in my dad‘s garage, to creating decorative ornaments and wearable art. As a lifelong artist, speaker and trainer, merging creativity and education is the heart of everything I do. I also specialize in Hat/Millinery Art to include Pyrography, and Henna Body Art.
