"Across Space" by Cristian Damian Gonzalez Lahmann

Accross Space - A través del espacio is an immersive installation by Argentine artist Cristian Damian Gonzalez Lahmann that invites visitors to explore the vast landscapes and skies of Argentina as a sensitive map where memory, nature, and contemplation intertwine. Curated by Maria T. Huang, the project is conceived as a sensitive map where memory, nature, and contemplation intertwine, inviting visitors on a journey through space and perception and creating a dialogue between the local and the universal, the human and the cosmic.

The artworks evoke the abstraction of physical space through organic forms, straight lines, and vibrant colors that create an atmosphere in which the perception of time stands still, generating optical illusions that invite contemplation of the immensity and relativity of existence.
The paintings allude to the colors of the Puna, Patagonia, the Pampas plains, the Litoral region, and Buenos Aires, in harmony with poems that amplify the voice of each territory. A projection and a virtual reality station expand these landscapes toward a horizon beyond time and space, reminding us that nature shares a single pulse across the entire planet.

The project is completed with the eponymous poetry book, published in Spanish and English, which extends the experience into the written word and consolidates the interdisciplinary dimension of the work.

A través del espacio - Across space es una instalación inmersiva del artista argentino Cristian Damian Gonzales Lahmann que invita a recorrer las geografías y los cielos expandidos de Argentina como un mapa sensible donde se entrecruzan memoria, naturaleza y contemplación.

Con la curaduría de Maria T. Huang, el proyecto está inspirado en los cielos y en la vastedad del territorio argentino y propone un viaje de pausas y resonancias, donde lo local dialoga con lo universal y lo humano con lo cósmico. Las obras evocan la abstracción del espacio físico mediante formas orgánicas, líneas rectas y colores vibrantes que crean una atmósfera en la cual la percepción del tiempo se detiene, generando ilusiones ópticas que invitan a contemplar la inmensidad y la relatividad de la existencia.

Las pinturas remiten a los colores de la Puna, la Patagonia, la llanura pampeana, el Litoral y Buenos Aires, en sintonía con poemas que amplifican la voz de cada territorio. Una proyección y una estación de realidad virtual expanden estos paisajes hacia un horizonte sin tiempo ni espacio, recordando que la naturaleza comparte un mismo pulso en todo el planeta. El proyecto se completa con el libro de poesía homónimo, publicado en español e inglés, que prolonga la experiencia hacia la palabra escrita y consolida la dimensión interdisciplinaria de la obra.

DRESS CODE: Smart Casual or Cocktail Attire is strictly required. Guests who do not meet the dress code will not be admitted.

Limited Capacity: Attendance is limited. Only one reservation per person is permitted.

No Duplicate Reservations: Duplicate bookings under the same name will be automatically canceled

Cancellations: If you can no longer attend, please cancel your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance to allow others to participate.

Bag Policy: Backpacks and large bags are not allowed. Please leave these items at home, as they will not be permitted inside the venue.

Food & Beverages: Outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Pets: No pets allowed.

Accessibility: Please note that the venue does not have elevator access. Events held on upper floors may not be accessible to all guests.
