Public Art Tour
About this Event
Governors Island’s 120 acres of open space are dotted with site-specific public art presented through Governors Island Arts, meant to prompt contemplation and encourage visitors to engage with our varied landscapes and histories.
These free guided tours will give you an in-depth look at the Island’s public artworks, from interactive sculptures to monumental murals.
Please note: these tours are held entirely outdoors on Governors Island. Please dress with the weather in mind. Tours depart from Soissons Landing at 11:45am the first and third Saturday of the month.
