About this Event
Join us in the Living Room of The Study at Johns Hopkins for an evening of discovery as Dr. Luke A. Becker of Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory shares an inside look at NASA’s mission.
Set to launch in 2028, Dragonfly is a groundbreaking mission to Saturn’s moon, Titan - one of the most intriguing environments in our solar system. With its dense atmosphere and complex organic chemistry, Titan offers a unique opportunity to explore the building blocks of life. Dr. Becker will walk through the mission’s goals, technology, and what scientists hope to uncover as Dragonfly takes flight across Titan’s surface.
With nearly 25 years of experience in Space Mission Assurance and leadership on major NASA missions, Dr. Becker brings a rare, behind-the-scenes perspective to this next chapter in space exploration.
Hosted in the warm, conversational setting of The Study Living Room, this speaker event invites guests to engage with big ideas, ask questions, and experience the wonder of space.
This is a free event with complimentary light bites available. Drinks will be available for purchase.
