See the man who helped bring classic John Carpenter scores to life, in person, for a weekend of shimmering synths and blazing guitars!
On Friday, August 14th, Alan Howard performs a live score to a digital presentation of John Carpenter’s CHRISTINE (1983), a pedal-to-the-metal terror ride with a pulsing synth sound that will rev your engine to the max! She was born in Hell and roams the streets in search of her next victim, blood red and sparklingchrome, a car that’s not a possession, but a possessor!
Once you’ve cooled your coils, get ready for a 35mm presentation of John Carpenter’s sinister ode to otherworldly overlords, PRINCE OF DARKNESS (1987)! An unholy evil awakens and only a team of paranormal researchers can stop it! Live the nightmare you dare not wake from!
Saturday night kicks off with a career-spanning “Best of Alan Howarth” concert, with killer tracks from his many notable and award-winning film scores, followed by a 35mm presentation of John Carpenter’s THEY LIVE (1988), with Roddy Piper as a working man fighting an alien invasion! PUT THE GLASSES ON!
Alan will be selling photos and autographs before the films each night, so be sure to arrive early to hang with the master!
