On Friday and Saturday, August 21st and 22nd, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater invites you to step out of the waking world and back into THE WILD WORLD OF DAVILD LYNCH, with a trip to TWIN PEAKS, with special TWIN PEAKS guests in person, and a live performance by David Lynch tribute band F You, Tammy on Saturday!
We pay tribute once again to the unique genius of David Lynch, his artistic, beautiful, bizarre, and disturbing films, mixing fantasy and reality and leaving audiences dazzled, baffled, living on forever.
The Mahoning Drive-In Theater once again celebrates Lynch’s unique vision and legacy with a two-day tribute to all things Lynchian, with a focus on his television masterpiece TWIN PEAKS, a fan gathering that begins under the sun each day, and ends beneath the stars each night.
TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME (1992) – The feature film prequel to the TV series (1990-1991), delving into the inky darkness of the life of Laura Palmer and the citizens of the sleepy Washington logging town, where disturbing secrets lurk under the serene surface.
Featuring the TV cast, along with Chris Isaak, Harry Dean Stanton, Kiefer Sutherland, and David Bowie.
TWIN PEAKS: The Pilot Episode (1990) – FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper enters the town of Twin Peaks, Washington, to investigate the mysterious death of homecoming queen Laura Palmer, found dead, wrapped in plastic, on the shores of the local river. What he finds is an ever-evolving mystery, hidden in the nooks and crannies of a seemingly idyllic small American town. Ninety minutes that changed television forever.
With Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Lara Flynn Boyle, Jack Nance, and an iconic cast beloved by TWIN PEAKS fans the world over.
We’re thrilled to welcome special guests from the cast of TWIN PEAKS, Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), Michael Horse (Deputy Hawk) and James Marshall (James Hurley) to the theater both nights, meeting fans and selling autographs and photos!
