KARAOKE LEGENDS - 06 - PARODIES NEVER DONE AT KARAOKE

This is my second karaoke night of the season, and it's gonna hearken back to my old-school days when The King's Den was my first bar I went to, and I did nothing but song parodies for my first ten (or so) nights. Plus, over the years I've been coming to Griff's, I've only done one, maybe two, song parodies, but I've never really done a full night of them, so it'll be great to really showcase what I can do as myself. I started writing song parodies in late 2002, so I have 20 years' worth of stuff that nobody has ever heard before: some stuff possibly deemed to tame or boring to perform because the atmosphere wasn't right, maybe a few that I'm afraid won't get that good a reception... in other words, the boring stuff. But I promise that I came up with a good handful of songs that will make the night feel smooth as well as enjoyable and enteraining. I'll be bringing my actual Songbooks with me to perform these songs, giving it that extra layer and level of authenticity that will make it feel intimate and personal.
