Advanced Meditation Training
15-Hour Immersion
Online or In Person
Deepen your personal practice. Expand your understanding. Learn how to guide meditation with greater clarity, confidence, and skill.
This 15-hour Advanced Meditation Training is designed for yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, space holders, and dedicated students who want to move beyond the basics and into a richer, more nuanced relationship with meditation.
This training is not just about learning how to sit still or memorize a few techniques. It is about understanding meditation as a living practice. One that can support nervous system regulation, self-awareness, presence, spiritual growth, and meaningful inner change.
Throughout this training, students will explore a wide range of meditation approaches and learn how to work more skillfully with the real experiences that arise in practice, including restlessness, resistance, wandering thoughts, emotional activation, numbness, and doubt. Rather than treating these as problems, we will explore how they can become part of the practice itself.
What you will learn:
• The foundations of advanced meditation practice and how meditation evolves over time
• The difference between concentration, mindfulness, witnessing, presence, and deeper states of awareness
• A variety of meditation styles and when to use them, including breath awareness, mantra, somatic meditation, open awareness, guided meditation, visualization, and Yoga Nidra-inspired practices
• How the nervous system impacts meditation, including regulation, dysregulation, hyperarousal, hypoarousal, and why calm is not always the goal
• Common obstacles in meditation and how to work with them skillfully and compassionately
• The role of self-compassion, non-judgment, and relationship to self in deepening practice
• How personal history, identity, and conditioning can shape a person’s meditation experience
• The importance of embodiment and why meditation is not just something that happens from the neck up
• Meditation as both a personal practice and a facilitation tool
• How to guide others in meditation with language that is clear, grounded, trauma-aware, and accessible
• How to help students troubleshoot their practice and build confidence in what they are experiencing
This training includes:
• Experiential meditation practices
• Theory and discussion
• Reflection and self-inquiry
• Teaching methodology
• Practice guiding others
• Supportive feedback and integration
By the end of this training, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of meditation, a more honest and embodied relationship with their own practice, and practical tools for sharing meditation in a way that feels authentic, informed, and impactful.
