You’ve nailed the basics, now it’s time to take your Kamado cooking to the next level.
Advanced Kamado Mastery is designed for those already confident with lighting, airflow and temperature control, and ready to unlock more from their grill.
Over four flavour-packed hours, you’ll explore more advanced Kamado techniques, from split-level cooking and dirty-style grilling to seafood, rotisserie meats, cast iron cooking and flavour development.
This class goes deeper into technique, timing and smoke management, while still giving you the chance to get hands-on with the prep, the pit and the plate.
You’ll cook across a range of Kamado grills, including Kamado Joe Classic and Konnected, Kama Gear and the BSTRD kamado. All techniques are transferable to Big Green Egg, Monolith, Primo, Pit Boss and other ceramic cookers.
Under the guidance of our expert instructor, you’ll learn:
🔥 Advanced smoking theory and flavour layering
🔥 Dirty-style cooking directly on the coals
🔥 Split-level cooking and heat zoning
🔥 How to get the most from the SloRoller system
🔥 Wood selection and smoke management for specific dishes
🔥 Advanced timing, rest periods and finishing techniques
Sample menu includes:
🔥 Smoked picanha steak
🔥 Whisky duck breast
🔥 Crispy pork belly
🔥 Spatchcock chicken
🔥 Pulled pork
🔥 Grilled salmon
🔥 Sea bass in cast iron
🔥 Rotisserie lamb or beef
You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of your Kamado, more confidence across advanced techniques, and plenty of ideas to take back to your own grill.
