Think you know Hitchin? Put your skills to the test in the Hitchin Monopoly Challenge - a fast-paced, town-wide treasure hunt inspired by the classic board game.

Race across Hitchin visiting participating local organisations and in each window or just outside you’ll find one or more hidden letters. Collect them all and rearrange them to reveal a mystery sentence.

The first person to return with the correct sentence in the fastest time wins.

Along the way you’ll discover amazing local businesses, explore the town and take part in a fun community challenge raising money for Growing Resilience in Teens (GRIT) - a local charity who support young people with their mental health and wellbeing through coaching and non contact boxing.

Whether you're a puzzle lover, competitive racer, or just want a fun day out in town, the Hitchin Monopoly Challenge is a brilliant way to get involved.
How it works

• Start at the event registration point in Hitchin town centre
• Receive your challenge sheet
• Visit participating businesses to collect hidden letters
• Rearrange the letters to reveal the mystery sentence
• Return to the finish with your completed answer
