About this Event
Improve skills. Strengthen safety. Empower local training.
Health Innovation Manchester is pleased to deliver this Train-the-Trainer programme as part of the ABC (Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth) Programme, focused on improving the recognition and management of Impacted Fetal Head (IFH) at caesarean birth.
Impacted fetal head is a high-risk maternity emergency associated with significant maternal and neonatal morbidity. This interactive, multidisciplinary training day is designed to equip experienced clinicians with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver high-quality IFH training locally, using the ABC approach and associated clinical toolkit.
The programme brings together clinical expertise, human factors, and system learning, with a strong focus on improving maternal and neonatal safety outcomes and supporting high-quality, standardised practice across maternity services.
The ABC Programme is a collaboration.
