Join members of the JASNA New York Metropolitan Region on Sunday, August 9th at the Connolly's Pub and Restaurant located at 14 East 47th Street (between Madison and Fifth Avenue) for a wide-ranging discussion of Jane Austen's novels and a three-course prix fixe meal including appetizer, dessert, and your choice of entree:

• Grilled salmon filet served with dijon cream reduction, mashed potatoes, and vegetable
• Chicken Caesar salad: grilled chicken breast, romaine lettuce, roasted garlic crostini, shredded parmesan
• Penne alla vodka: pasta tossed in a creamy pink vodka sauce
• Chicken Caprese: grilled chicken with melted mozzarella cheese & tomato basil butter sauce
• Fish and chips: Harp beer-battered cod and french fries
• Certified angus beef burger, applewood bacon, and American cheese, served with french fries

Coffee, tea, and soft drinks are included; and you're welcome to purchase other drinks at the bar.
