About this Event

Kings Cross saw some of the earliest trans activism, a strike by strippers, the first Mardi Gras, Green Bans and mass squatting by communists. Police, property developers and fascists tried their utmost to thwart the left - even resulting in M**der. Join your friendly tour guides and co-hosts of the People’s History of Australia podcast Tim and Christian for a fascinating walk through Kings Cross’s radical past.
The tour will go to 1pm and we will have lunch and drinks afterwards! Meet at the El Alamein Fountain in central Kings Cross.
